Ingredients
- 3 cups diced dates
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup oleo
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1 t salt
- 1 1/2 cup Oats

Preparation
Step 1
Cook dates, sugar and water until thick. Mix brown sugar and oleo together. Sift and add flour, soda, salt. Then add Oats. Spread 1/2 of this oat mixture into a greased and floured 9" x 13" pan. Spread filling over and top with remainter of Oat mixture. Bake in 400 degree oven for 25 -30 minutes.
