  • Dice or shred:
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 onion
  • 4 potatoes
  • 8-10 chicken broth cubes
  • 3 sticks of butter
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 16 ounce jar of cheese whiz
  • 1 package frozen peas

Preparation

Step 1

Cook vegetables in 3 quarts salted water until tender. Drain off water into another pan and add enough water to make 3 quarts. Set the vegetables aside.

Add chicken broth cubes, Accent, salt and sugar to taste.

Melt butter and stir in 1 1/2 cups flour until bubbly. Add to the liquid with 1 16 ounce jar of cheese whiz until melted. Add the vegetables and package of frozen peas. Heat until hot
