VELVEETA CHEESE FUDGE

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
  • 8 oz. velveeta cheese
  • 1 1/2 teas. vanilla
  • 1 bag powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup pecans

Preparation

Step 1

In large bowl combine powdered sugar and cocoa. Set aside. In small sauce pan melt butter and cheese over low heat, stirring so not to scorch cheese.
Once melted completely, remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Quickly add to powdered sugar mixture and stir until fully blended. Immediately pour into a buttered 13x9 in pan. Smooth top and add pecans. If any excess butter rises to the top, dab with a paper towel. Chill at least 2 hours.
