Gluten Free Chili

There's nothing better in the fall than Chili!! Try this gluten free chili this fall. It's one of our favorites.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef chicken or turkey
  • 1 medium yellow onion diced
  • 1 ounce can of crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 Tbs chili powder
  • 1 Tbs cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 can (16 oz) kidney beans drained (read the label, make sure they are free of wheat and gluten)
  • water to desired thickness

Preparation

Step 1


Brown ground meat in a large skillet over medium heat. Once meat is browned add onions and garlic. Saute for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, beans, spices and water (to desired thickness). Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and stir every 15 minutes. Cook for at least 2 hours.
