    Pie Crusts

    Cups of Flour

    tsp of Salt

  • Cup of Shortening

  • 1

    Egg well beaten

  • 1

    Tbsp of Vinegar

  • 5

    Tbsp of VERY cold water


Mix Flour, Salt, and Shortening together to the consistency of corn meal. Make a "well" and add the Egg, Vinegar, and Water. Use the crust for pies (or anything else) or if you want a cooked pie crust, line pie pan and bake in a pre-heated 475 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. **You could use a Food Processor to mix the ingredients.
