Ingredients

  • 1 large or 2 small cans of red salmon
  • 2 Tbs. matza meal or plain bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • salt, pepper and paprika

Preparation

Step 1

If salmon has skin and bones, remove and drain.
Combine all ingredients. If it is too think, add 1/2 Tbs. water. Pat together with hands into patties, usually 4 to 5 patties.

Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry patties until browned on both sides.

May be served with mac and cheese, salad or rice a roni.
