Sweet & Crunchy Bacon Crackers

This snack is just the thing for holiday get-togethers. Be sure to remove the crackers immediately from the rack, or the cheese will stick as it cools.
Ingredients
- 48 Town House Original Crackers
- 1 (6- or 8-oz) wedge cheddar cheese, sliced into 24 slices
- 12 bacon slices
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Place a wire cooling rack on top of the baking sheet (to allow bacon grease to drain). Sandwich together Town House Original Crackers and cheddar cheese slices. Carefully wrap each sandwich in ½ slice bacon; place on rack. Sprinkle evenly with about ⅓ cup brown sugar. Bake about 2 hours, or until bacon is crisp.
Cook's Note
Make these the morning of your get-together, then reheat in a 300°F oven about 10 minutes.
