Mushroom Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cups chopped onions
  • 1 -1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 3 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 10 cups of dry crumbled bread
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh sage
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 3/4 tsp salt and pepper
  • 2 eggs beaten

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan melt butter over medium heat cook onions and celery for about 10 minutes or until softened but not browned. Add mushrooms cook over medium high heat stirring for 4 minutes or until slightly softened

In a large bowl combine bread and onion mixture toss well. Add sage parsley salt and pepper
