Clam Fritters

Ingredients

  • 1 Pint ( 2- 7 oz) clams
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking power
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup whole milk

Preparation

Step 1

Drain clams mix with flour, baking power and salt. Combine egg and clams, add to flour with enough milk or clam juice to make a thick batter.
Drop by teaspoons into hot oil (375) for about 7 minutes. Will float to the top. Drain on paper towel
