Easy Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 3

    cups packed flour

  • 1

    teaspoon cream of tartar

  • 1

    teaspoon baking powder

  • 1

    teaspoon baking soda

  • 1

    teaspoon sea salt or regular salt

  • 1/2

    cup soft butter

  • 1/2

    cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1/2

    cup shredded asiago cheese

  • 2

    large beaten eggs

  • 1

    cup sour cream

  • 1/2

    cup milk

  • 1/2

    cup grated parmesan cheese (not the kind in a can!)

Directions

Combine dry ingredients. Cut in the butter. Stir in the cheddar and asiago cheese. Add the eggs and mix well. Add the sour cream and mix well. Add the milk and mix well. Drop by soup spoon full onto a cookie sheet, 12 to a sheet. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake 425 for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned on top. Cookl 5 minutes on the sheet and then transfer to a wire rack. Makes 12 large biscuits (I ended up with 20)
