Ingredients
- 1 lb. dry great Northern beans
- 1/2 lb. cooked ham
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 T. brown sugar
- Salt and white pepper to taste
- 1/8 t. Cayenne pepper
- 1/4 t. baking soda
Preparation
Step 1
Soak the beans overnight. In the morning, rinse and drain the beans. Sauté the onion in a little butter, then add all the ingredients to the crock pot. Cook on low 8-12 hours.
