Ingredients
- 8 cups of slied pared tart apples
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose blour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 cup butter
Preparation
Step 1
Mound apples in 9x13 glass pan. Sprinkle with orange juice.
For topping, combine sugar, flour, spices, and dash salt. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly, then scatter over apples.
Bake at 375* for an hour or until apples are done and topping is crisp. Serve warm with ice cream.
