Gift in a Jar Cookie Mix - M&M Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 3/4 cup oatmeal
• 1 cup M & M (or craisins)
• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

Layer ingredients in a quart jar in order listed above. Attach recipe to jar:

M&M Oatmeal Cookies
Empty cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Stir to combine. Add 3/4 cup softened butter, 1 slightly beaten egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix until well blended.

Drop by rounded teaspoons onto a lightly greased cookie sheet

Bake 350 10-12 minutes
