Ingredients

    cup packed brown sugar

  • 1/4

    cup butter

  • 1 1/4

    cup water

  • 1

    cup pecan halves

  • 1

    cup flaked coconut

  • 2

    cups minature marshmallow

  • 1/2

    cup water

  • 1 1/2

    cup sugar

  • 4

    ounces German sweet chocolate

  • 2 1/2

    cup flour

  • 3

    eggs

  • 1

    teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1

    teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2

    teaspoon salt

  • 1/2

    cup butter, softened

  • 1

    cup sour cream

Directions

In a small saucepan heat 1 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup butter until butter melts. Pour into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Stir in brown sugar and coconut. Sprinkle with marshmallow and nuts over top. Set aside. In saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate with 1/2 cup water. In large bowl, combine chocolate mixture with remaining ingredients. Beat three minutes at medium speed. Carefully spoon batter over coconut marshmallow mixture. Place pan on foil or cookie sheet during baking to guard against spillage. Bake 375 50 to 70 minutes or until done.
