Cheesy Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 bags of Simply Potato hash browns or a large bag of frozen hash browns (thawed)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom or celery)
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 8 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 stick of butter or margarine
  • bread crumbs, cracker crumbs or potato chips crumbled

Preparation

Step 1

In a big bowl mix the soup, sour cream and cheese together. Stir in potatoes with a dash of pepper. Put in a 9" X 13" greased pan. Melt the butter and pour over the potato mixture. Sprinkle plain bread crumbs, cracker crumbs or potato chips on top. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or one hour and 15 or 20 minutes. This can be made the day before and refrigerated before baking.
