Creamed eggs on toast

An Easter morning favorite, using all the colored eggs!!

Ingredients

  • 3 T butter
  • 3 T flour
  • 1/2 t salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 hard boiled eggs, chopped small
  • 4 pieces of bread, toasted

Preparation

Step 1

Over medium heat, stir butter, flour, salt and pepper until thick. Add milk a little at a time to make a cream sauce as thick as you want it. Add chopped eggs and spool over dry toast.
