Ingredients

  • 2 T cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 cup Mayo
  • 1 t sugar
  • 1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 head purple cabbage
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/2 t Tabasco pepper sauce
  • 2 large bananas
  • salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

In large bowl, combine mayo, vinegar, sugar, Tabasco sauce, celery seed and salt. Add cabbages, carrot, and green onions; toss well. Cover, refrigerate at least 2 hours to blend flavors. Just before serving slice bananas; add to slaw and toss again. Serve with additional Tabasco sauce, if desired.
