Ingredients

  • Doughnuts:

  • 2

    cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2

    cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 1/2

    tsp baking powder

  • 1 1/2

    tsp pumpkin pie spice

  • 1/2

    tsp salt

  • 1/4

    tsp baking soda

  • 1/2

    cup canned or fresh pureed pumpkin

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1/4

    cup milk

  • 1/4

    cup butter at room temperature

  • Icing:

  • 1

    cup confectioners sugar

  • 1/4

    tsp vanilla

  • 3-4

    tsp milk

Directions

Doughnuts: In a medium mixing bowl whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and baking soda. Add the pumpkin, eggs, milk, and butter; mix together thoroughly. Spoon the mixture into mini donut baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool doughnuts on a cooling rack. Icing: In a mixing bowl whisk together powdered sugar and vanilla. Whisk the milk in to make a glaze. Drizzle the icing over the doughnuts. Sprinkle top with assorted toppings (sliced almonds, coconut, sprinkles, etc.)
