Grandma Bonnies Bread

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 packages dry yeast
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup scalded milk
- 3 T. butter
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 1/2 cups flour ( in addition)
Preparation
Step 1
Combine 1 1/2 c. flour, yeast, salt and sugar together. Add to scalded milk, 3 T. butter and cold water. Add remaining flour to the beaten mix. Knead and let rise double. Divide and place in loaf pans, brush the tops with butter and let rise another 1/2 hour in the pans. Bake 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
