Red Velvet Cake Balls
AKA Roll Tide Cake Balls! Perfect for tailgates.
- 1 Red velvet cake mix (+ ingredients to bake cake)
- 1 jar cream cheese frosting
- 1.5 packages almond bark (for dipping)
Bake cake according to directions. When cake is cooled, crumble into mixing bowl. Mix with entire jar of frosting. Place in freezer/fridge until chilled. Roll cake mixture into balls, about the size of golf balls or a little smaller. Place on wax paper covered cookie sheet. Place balls in fridge overnight or freezer for about an hour--long enough to be fairly solid.
Once balls are chilled, melt almond bark in bowl. Dip cake balls in almond bark mixture and place on wax paper to cool. Sprinkle top with red sprinkles if desired.
