Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Earth Balance margarine (at room temperature)
  • 1 tablespoon grandma's molasses
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Cream margarine and sugar till fluffy. Add the molasses and vanilla. Add the flour, baking soda, salt, and mix well. Fold in the chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoons spaced a little over 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes (slightly browned). Let cool then transfer to parchment paper or cooling rack.
