Ham Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  • 6 slices Dak Danish Sliced Ham,cut into julienne strips & seperated
  • 4 C. water
  • 4 tsp. granulated chicken bouillon
  • 1 lb can whole tomatoes
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 medium onions,thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp corseley ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 tsp mayoram
  • 1 lb package frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 c. grated swiss cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a 5-quart Dirch oven,bring water to a boil and dissolve boullion.Add remaining ingredients,evcept ham and cheese.Reduce heat,simmer 25 minutes.Stir in ham and cook an additional 5 minutes.Serve topped with grated cheese.One cup cooked rice maybe added with the ham,if desired.
