Roasted cabbage with pears

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • pears
  • olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
  • lemon juice
  • walnuts, toasted
  • crumbled blue cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Core cabbage and cut into wedges; core and quarter pears. Place on a baking sheet and toss with olive oil, salt and pepper. Roast in the oven at 400 for 40-45 mins, turning once. Transfer to a serving platter. Top with a squeeze of lemon juice and a generous sprinkle of toasted walnuts and crumbled blue cheese.
