Ingredients

  • 4 green apples peeled and sliced
  • 1 Tbs cinnamon
  • 1 Tbs sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 Tbs vanilla ext
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • cinn and sugar for the top
  • 1 cup sugar for the streusel topping
  • 1 cup flour for the streusel topping
  • 3/4 cup oil (much less just until it crumbles into pea like crumbs)for topping

Step 1

Preheat oven 350. Layer apples into a 10" round pan and about 2/3 up the sides of the pan.It also comes out nicely in a 9x13 pan. In a separate bowl,mix cinn and sugar,sprinkle on apples. Make a batter by beating eggs and sugar until light an fluffy. Add oil and vanilla and beat well ,stir in the flour. Spoon the batter on top of the apples. In a separate bowl, mix the topping(sugar,flour and oil)ingredients and sprinkle on top of the batter.May sprinkle some more sugar and cinn on top. Bake for one hour until toothpick comes out clean.
