Ingredients
- 1 (1-pound) package sliced bacon
- 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
Preparation
Step 1
These are a simple and delicious appetizer. Perhaps a bit less chili powder and I'd be more of a fan. Either way, they'd be a tasty addition to your next party or family get together.
Makes 12-15 wraps
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. Cut each bacon slice into thirds. Wrap each chicken cube with bacon and secure with a wooden pick. Stir together brown sugar and chili powder. Dredge wrapped chicken in mixture. Coat a rack and broiler pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place chicken wrap on rack in broiler pan. Bake 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

I agree with you - I've made this recipe a couple times now, and I just can't seem to make it fantastic. It's just okay.
That looks deliciously addictive. I'm going to make these the next time we have friends over for dinner.
Mmmm, those look amazing! Of course, maybe they don't need the brown sugar or chili powder. Little bites of chicken wrapped in bacon hardly need anything added. Bacon makes everything better, right?
Add bacon and I will eat anything...LOL! Thanks for sharing!
I like how easy these are to make! They look and sound delicious, and I can't wait to try them. Thanks for sharing! ~Lisa {visiting from Miz Helen's}
I make these ALL the time!! We love them at our house and my hubby requests them a lot during football season. So glad you shared it at our Inspiration Friday party this week!
These look delicious! I make a similar kabob, where I wrap marinated turkey with bacon and bbq, it is super yummy as well!
I do not own a broiler rack. But would love to make these this evening since I have everything on hand. Any suggestions?
you can also make them by saturating each piece of chicken in BBQ sauce, stick a wedge of mozzarella cheese on the chicken and then wrap it in bacon!! works equally well for a meal rather than finger food or an appetizer - chicken breast, bbq sauce, sliced mozz cheese and bacon on top!
I appreciate hearing from those who've actually made the recipe rather than those who want to make it. That is not really as helpful.
Discovered this gem for my superbowl party. Been making it for years always a crowd pleaser. Just make sure to get yours first, they go fast!

I do these just a little differently. I combine chili powder with garlic powder. Roll the chicken in that. Wrap with bacon then do the brown sugar. The juice these make in the oven is scrumptious
