- 1-2 tablespoons cornstarch, flour or tapioca
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- milk or cream

Step 1
Prepare fruit and add combined dry ingredients, adjusting sugar and flour (or cornstarch or tapioca) according to sweetness and juiciness of fruit. Mix thoroughly.
Line pie pan with pastry, place pie bird in center of lined pan. Arrange fruit around the pie pan and dot with butter. Put top crust on pie and brush with milk.
Bake 450 10 minutes, then 350 for 20-30 minutes
