Ingredients
- 20 whole garlic cloves, skin removed
- 2 T. light olive oil
- 6 to 8 chicken legs
- 1 T. dried oregano or rosemary
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. black pepper
- 1 t. paprika
- 1/4 t. red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
Preparation
Step 1
Place the garlic cloves in the bottom of slow cooker. Pour the olive oil into a gallon-sized bag. Add chicken legs, close bag, massage olive oil into chicken. In a small bowl or cup, combine dried herbs and spices. Pour this mixture into bag with chicken. Close bag again and rub spices into chicken. Brown chicken over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side. Place the browned chicken into the slow cooker, pour chicken broth over top and place lid on. Cook on low heat for 8 hours.
