Mexican Stuffed Shells

Ingredients

  • Large pasta shells
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • taco seasoning
  • 1 can black beans
  • 12 -jar picante sauce 1/2 cup water
  • 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 4 oz chopped green chilies
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef and add taco seasoning according to directions.
Boil shells & drain.
Combine picante sauce, water & tomato sauce.
Stir into ground beef, chilies and ½ cup cheese mix well.
Spread ½ cup of mixture in 9x13 dish.
Arrange shells in dish and pour remaining mixture over shells.
Cover & bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Top with remaining cheese & bake uncovered for 5 minutes.
