Ingredients
- 1 lb loaf bread (Pepperidge Farm White Sandwich bread)
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 sticks celery
- 1 onion (baseball size)
- poultry seasoning
Preparation
Step 1
Allow bread to sit out for a few days to become stale. Saute onion and celery in one stick butter until soft. Add bread cubes. Sprinkle with poultry seasoning as it cooks. Add one more stick of butter. It should look moist. If not, another 1/2 stick of butter can be added.
Taste and watch for golden color.
Cook in an electronic skillet ~325* and then transfer to casserole. Can be frozen (recommended) when cooled down. Reheat in oven.
