(Crockpot) Carrots, Orange Spiced Glazed

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (32 oz.) fresh baby carrots
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients, except cornstarch and water in Crock Pot.
Cook on high 3 to 4 hours, until carrots are tender.

Spoon carrots into serving bowl.

Remove juices to a small saucepan and heat to boil.

Mix cornstarch with cold water and stir into saucepan; cook about 1 minute, until thickened.
Pour over carrots.
