Ingredients

  • 1 28 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 16 ounce can garbanzo beans, canned, undrained
  • 2 cups potatoes, cubed and peeled
  • 1 cup lentils, dry
  • 1 cup carrot slices
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 6 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • Water as needed

Step 1

In 4 quart saucepan or Dutch ove, combine all ingredients, mix well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover, simmer 45 to 55 minutes or until vegetables and lentils are tender.
