Ingredients
- 3/4 pound ground beef
- 1 unbaked pastry shell (9-in.)
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup onion
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Step 1
1. In a large skillet, cook the beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Meanwhile, line unpricked pie shell with a double thickness of heavy-duty foil. Bake at 450 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove foil, bake for 5 minutes more. Set aside to cool.
2. Drain beef; place in a large bowl. Add the eggs, mayonnaise, milk, onion, cornstarch, salt, pepper and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.
3. If necessary, cover the edges of crust with foil to prevent over browning. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Let stand 5-10 minutes before cutting.
