COCONUT CAKE

Ingredients

  • Mix:
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups coconut
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Step 1

Cook cake and directed on the box, using two round cake pans. Remove from pan and using dental floss, cut the two cakes in half horizontally.


Take 1 cup of above mixture and mix it in with a tub of cool whip.

Stack the layers of cake with the above mixture in between each cake layer.

Spread the cool whip mixture over the top and sides of the cake. Put the cake in a Tupperware container with a lid. Using duck tape, seal the edges. Refrigerate for at least three days, but could be refrigerated for seven days to be seasoned. Could be frozen.
