I should start with this disclaimer – it’s good. Like, the best. And it’s so easy to make that you might just make it over and over and over and over…..well, you get my point.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla (honestly, I don't ever measure my vanilla - SHHH)
  • 3 ripe bananas

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350.
Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a bowl and set aside.
Cream the butter and sugar together.
Add eggs, milk and vanilla, beat until smooth.
Add the dry ingredients and the bananas and mix everything together until it is combines and smooth. Mine was never smooth but I like little chunks of bananas in my bread.
Pour the mixture into your lightly greased bread pan.
Bake for 60-65 minutes.
