Raspberry Angel Loaf

Strawberry gelatin and strawberries can be substituted for the raspberries.

Ingredients
- 1 small package raspberry gelatin
- 1 1/4 C. boiling water
- dash salt
- 1 package frozen or fresh raspberries
- 1 cup whipping cream (or whipped topping)
- Angel food cake

Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve gelatin in in boiling water.
Add raspberries and salt. Let set until slightly thick.
Fold whipped cream or whipped topping into the gelatin.
Break the cake into bite sized pieces. Scatter half of the cake in the bottom of an 8x11 inch pan. Pour half of the gelatin mixture on top. Add another layer of cake and then the rest of the gelatin.
Refrigerate covered until set.
Cut into squares and top with whipped cream.
