Rice One-Pan Taco Dinner Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Success Boil-in-Bag White or Brown Rice
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet (1 1/4 ounces) taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • Salsa, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare the rice according to package directions.

Coat a large non-stick skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Add meat and brown over mediium-high heat; drain excess fat. Add seasoning mix, water and cooked rice. Stir and cook 2 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with lettuce and tomato just before swerving. Serve with salsa, if desired.
