Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 cans biscuits (I use Honey Butter biscuits in the green can but any butter ones will do)
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cut Biscuits into fourths and coat with above mix. I mix the above stuff minus the biscuits in a sealable container (gladware, Tupperware, Rubbermaid whatever you have, just something that has a lid and can be used to shake the stuff to coat the biscuits). After I have cut up about 3-4 biscuits I drop them into the container, close it and shake to get the cinnamon, sugar and pecans to stick. The pecans are not going to stick, so I just randomly dump pecans between the layers of biscuits in the bundt pan as I go.
2.Layer biscuits into a greased bundt pan.
3.Top with: ¾ cup butter, ¾ cup brown sugar, and ¼ cup sugar. (I usually melt the butter, and mix the brown sugar and regular sugar together with the melted butter and then pour the entire thing around the top)
4.Pour butter, brown sugar, and sugar over biscuits.
5.Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown (about 30 minutes). Mine usually takes more than 30 minutes, you will just have to figure out how your oven cooks. I would say definitely take a look at 30 minutes to see how much long it will take.
6. Let it cool and then dump it onto a platter. If any pieces stick to the bundt pan just stick them back on top of the bread and no one will be any wiser. It helps if you dump it while it is still warm, so don’t let it cool too much.
