Yummy Coffee Cake - Bonnie Ellis
- 1 (18.5 oz) box yellow cake mix
- 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 cups 10X sugar
- 3 Tablespoons whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring
Preheat oven 350. Spray 13 x 9 with pam
Mix—cake mix, sour cream, oil and eggs with mixer. Spread half of cake mixture in bottom of pan.
In a small bowl mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over cake mixture and gently spread remaining cake mixture over brown sugar mixture.
Bake 35-40 minutes—Let cool for 5 minutes
In a small bowl whisk together sugar, milk, vanilla and butter favoring until smooth. Using fork pierce cake at 1-in intervals. Drizzle icing evenly over cake. Let icing harden for 20 minutes; cut into squares.
