Ingredients
- 1/2 t chili powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t paprika
- 1/4 t garlic powder
- 1/4 t ground cumin
- 1 T canola oil
- 1 1/2 lbs skirt steak or flap meat, thinly sliced
- 1 c yellow onion, sliced
- 2 c bell pepper, sliced (red, yellow and/or green
- 1 lime cut into 4-6 wedges
- 8-12 sm whole wheat tortilla warmed
Preparation
Step 1
Place chili powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder & cumin in med bowl stirring to combine. Add steak & toss to coat. Place oil in lg skillet over high heat. Add steak & cook until nicely browned, 4-5 min. Transfer to plate & cover to keep warm.
Reduce heat to med high. Place onions in skillet & cook until they begin to brown, 4 min. Add bell peppers & cook until tender, 3 min. Return steak to pan & toss to combine ingredients. Remove from heat. Serve hot with tortillas & lime wedges
