Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup butter or margarine (1 stick)
- 1-2 Cups diced celery (2-3 ribs)
- 1/2 Cup diced onion (1 small)
- 1/4 Cup diced green bell pepper (1/2 small)
- 1 Cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 lb. chopped fresh broccoli
- 11/2 lbs. cooked chicken or turkey, cubed
- 1 tsp. MURAL OF FLAVOR or TUSCAN SUNSET
- 1/2 tsp. KOSHER-STYLE FLAKE SALT
- 1/2 tsp. PENZEYS FRESHLY GROUND PEPPER
- 1/4 tsp. GRANULATED GARLIC POWDER
- 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese (or Neufchâtel cheese)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the vegetables and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 10 minutes. Add the chicken, MURAL OF FLAVOR or TUSCAN SUNSET, SALT, PEPPER and GARLIC. Cut the cream cheese into several cubes and add to the pan. Reduce the heat to low and cook until the cheese is melted, stirring frequently. Pour the mixture into a buttered 3-quart casserole dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350° until the top is golden brown, approximately 20-30 minutes.
