Ingredients

  • Brownie ingredients:
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 squares Bakers unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • Frosting ingredients:
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • enough milk to attain proper consistency

Preparation

Step 1

Melt two sticks butter and 4 squares chocolate in microwave. Be careful not to burn. Add two cups of sugar to chocolate while its hot.

In bowl mix 4 eggs, chocolate mixture, 1 1/2 cups flour and 1 tsp vanilla. Pour into ungreased 9 x 13 pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
Check with toothpick... middle should be gooey. 1 inch from edge of pan should be clean.
Frost when completely cool....next day.
