Mom's Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons Milk
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded (or more to taste)
- 1 lb Elbow Macaroni or Shells, cooked
- Cornflake Crumbs
- Optional: Finely chopped ham steak, sautéed and added to cheese sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in skillet; shake cornstarch and milk; add to melted butter. Allow sauce to thick, season with mixed spices (Chef Blend by Season Hunter). Once sauce is thick, slowly add shredded cheese to white sauce.
If using ham, heat in skillet before the butter.
Pour cooked macaroni into a 9X13 casserole pan.
Add cheese sauce to the cooked macaroni; sprinkle Cornflake Crumbs evenly over the top.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until crumbs are browned.
