Healthy Turkey Taco Dip

  • 1 lb ground turkey breast
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (16-oz) can black beans
  • 1 (15.5-oz) jar salsa
  • 1 cup low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz light cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup light sour cream
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 cup black olives, chopped
  • Baked tortilla chips (for serving)

Preparation:
1.Cook the turkey over medium heat in nonstick skillet until no longer pink, stirring to break up meat. Add the seasoning mix and water; bring to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and cook for 2—3 minutes.
2.Add the black beans and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Stir in 1/4 cup of the cheese. Spoon the turkey mixture into a 2-1/2 qt baking dish.
3.Beat the softened cream cheese with the sour cream in a medium-size mixing bowl. Spread the mixture over the meat and spoon the salsa on top. Top with lettuce, green onions, chopped tomatoes, and black olives. Scatter the remaining shredded cheese on top.
