Pumpkin Cookies

Ingredients
- 4 cups flour FROSTING
- 2 cups sugar 1 stick butter
- 2 tsp baking powder 4cups powdered sugar
- 2 tsp baking soda 2TAB milk
- 2 tsp cinnamon 2tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups shortening
- 1 can pumpkin
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla

Step 1
Mix first 5 ingredients in a bowl. In mixing bowl, combine next 4 ingredients and cream together. Slowly add dry ingredients mixing well. It will look like cake batter. Using a small cookie scoop, place cookies on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until top is set. Do not overbake! Remove from oven and let cool on wire rack.
Melt butter in saucepan until slightly browned. Do not burn. Pour into mixing bowl and add powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Mix until spreading consistancy to ice cookies. Frost cookies and let set until frosting dries and store in container with lid to keep cookies moist! You can't eat just one of these!
