Skinny oatmeal walnut raisin cookies

Ingredients
- 1 c flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 /w t ground cinnamon
- 2 T unsalted butter room temp
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 c pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 t vanilla
- 2 c rolled oats
- 1/2 c raisins
- 1/3 c chopped walnuts

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 and line 2 baking sheets w parchment paper
in a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon
In a large bowl with a mixer cream butter and sugar together on med speed
add the egg followed by the maple syrup, apple sauce and vanilla
Working by hand with a spatula stir in dry ingredients until just combined and no streaks of flour remain-stir in oats, raisins and chopped walnuts
Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets
Bake for about 12-15 mins or until cookies become light brown at edges
Let cool on sheet 3 or 4 min then transfer to rack to cool completely
