Ingredients
- Apple Crisp:
- 4 medium tart apples, chopped
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup refrigerated sugar cookie dough (from a roll)
- 1 cup organic vanilla almond crunch granola
- Topping:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon butterscotch-flavored schnapps
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
1 Heat oven to 375º. Spray bottom only of 8-inch square pan with cooking spray.
2 In large bowl, toss apples, sugars, 1/2 cup schnapps and cinnamon. Spread evenly in pan.
3 In small bowl, mix cookie dough and granola until crumbly. Spread over apples.
4 Bake 40 minutes.
5 In chilled small bowl, beat topping ingredients with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form.
6 To serve, spoon apple crisp into small drinking glasses. Top each with whipped cream and if desired, sprinkle with additional granola. Serve immediately.
Expert Tips:
If you don’t like whipped cream, you can always serve with vanilla ice cream.
