Ingredients

  • 2 large onions- 1 white 1 yellow
  • 2 large cans beef broth
  • 4 tablespoons beef bouillon
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 grinders black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan Romeno
  • 8 slices French Bread toasted
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella

Preparation

Step 1

Slice onions and saute in pan in butter about 10 minutes turning often. Add pepper. Saute 5 more minutes. Add broth, bouillon and Worcestershire. Simmer until onions are tender about 1 hour. Add grated cheese. Ladle soup in crock and place toasted bread on top. Sprinkle with cheese and put under broiler until golden.
