Apple Pecan French Toast
- 4 eggs
- 1 c milk
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1/4 t cinnamon
- 1 med apple, peeled and shredded
- 1/2 t vanilla
- 1 loaf French bread cut into 1" pieces
- 1 c chopped pecans
- 2 T melted butter
Coat the bottom of a 13x9 baking pan with pam.
Combine eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, apples, vanilla. Place bread in a single layer in baking dish. Pour egg mixture over bread. Turn bread over to coat other side. Cover with plastic wrap and refrig. over night.
oven at 425
sprinkle pecans over bread slices and drizzle with melted butter
bake 20-25 min. or until puffy.
Serve with maple syrup
