Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 cup rice
  • 1 cup heavy cream (may substitute whole milk)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 teasp. vanilla ext.
  • 1/4 teasp. salt
  • 1 teasp. cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Rinse med. saucepan with eater

Bring milk to boil over med heat.

Stir in rice

Bring to boil, then simmer uncovered about 55 mins.

In small bowl combine cream, sugar, egg yolk, vanilla and salt

Set aside

When rice is tender, stir in cream mixture

Heat to boil and remove from heat

Pour into 2 qt. bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon
