Ingredients

  • water
  • 1 4 oz can mushrooms, drained with liquid reserved
  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 strips of bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 2 Tbsp. fine bread crumbs
  • 1 small onion diced (1/2c)
  • 1 cup mozzarella grated
  • 1 16oz can tomato sauce

Preparation

Step 1

1. combine crumbs, eggs, mushroom and mix well, refrigerate.
2. heat oven to 350 degrees.
3. cook bacon crisp, crumble
4. pat meat into 12x18 rectangle pan.
5. drizzle liquid (mushroom and bacon), Meat. Sprinkle spices and bread crumbs on top.
6. make sure it is in a roll. put into pan, pour tomato sauce over it
7. cover with foil and bake 50-60 min
